Sarah is a writer/director originally from Albany, NY. She holds a B.A. from Vassar College and an M.A. from Duke University, where she left a doctoral program in literature to pursue filmmaking. She now resides in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, wither her husband and daughter, where she works on projects that explore intimacy and imagination.
Sarah’s short, Craning, premiered at LA Shorts Festival and was nominated for Best Performance by a Lead and Best Editing at NFMLA (2018).
From 2017-2018, Sarah collaborated with Flora Birnbaum and EP Leslye Headland on a web series, Cleansed, that she co-wrote and co-directed. Cleansed premiered at SXSW and was nominated for a Grand Jury Award for episodic content.
